On Twitter, Labour Friends of Palestine & the Middle East (LFPME) recommends former Labour MEP Pauline McNeil’s article on Palestine.
McNeil was part of Tony Lloyd’s parliamentary delegation to meet Hamas last year.
“At the above conference in Qatar , Doha I had the pleasure of meeting John. V. Whitbeck a former legal adviser to Yasser Arafat and the Palestinian negotiating team . […] John V Whitbeck advises Abbas in his letter […]”
He has also written:
There is an enormous difference between “recognizing Israel’s existence” and “recognizing Israel’s right to exist.” From a Palestinian perspective, the difference is in the same league as the difference between asking a Jew to acknowledge that the Holocaust happened and asking him to concede that the Holocaust was morally justified.
This man is praised unconditionally by Labour’s Pauline McNeil.
More evidence that Labour is creating more antisemitism rather than combatting it.
