NME.com: A must for far-right music fans?

Remember the NME? Well, it turns out it’s still going, and its website proclaims:

You know us. We’re the NME. We’re a weekly magazine that’s a must for right–thinking music fans… In a world drowning in musical disinformation we’re shit–shovelling Vikings, clearing the path for your festivals of wine and song.

No doubt this isn’t the kind of ‘right-thinking’ Viking material they had in mind:

Yet, thanks to the wonders of syndicated content and automated page creation, the NME website offers the following:

NME.com feature on Skrewdriver including news, reviews, biography, youtube video, audio, concerts, tour dates, photos, pictures, commentary, album reviews and live reviews and cool facts

The page features a ‘Buy Skrewdriver Albums’ link to an Amazon page (does NME get paid if someone buys an album?), ‘YouTube Skrewdriver Videos’ (each of which is embedded on its own page on the NME site), ‘Skrewdriver Biography’, ‘Skrewdriver Discography’, and even a helpful ‘Like Skrewdriver? You might also like…’, which offers links to similar NME pages about other race-hate bands.

Pretty bad, although perhaps not as bad as the fact that via Times Books (online bookshop of The Times newspaper), you can buy not only Gilad Atzmon’s book, but also the work of white nationalist anti-Semite Kevin MacDonald, and even a copy of the Protocols of the Elders of Zion (save 30p!).

What with the NME site providing visitors with information and links about race-hate bands and The Times bookshop selling race-hate books, neo-Nazis won’t have to look far when doing their Christmas shopping this year.
