Amazing?

At Socialist Unity, Green party activist Derek Wall writes:
Busy day canvassing in Windsor and Sunningdale, amazing how much opposition there is in even a very safe Tory constituency to the war in Afghanistan.
OK, I don’t live in the UK, but I don’t find that amazing at all– especially since the war began, and has continued, [...]

A New Red Line

It may seem extraordinary that George Galloway has been listed as a patron of the Palestine Telegraph just after it published a video of former KKK grand wizard David Duke.
Galloway does line up with some very curious characters. But Duke fans too?

Jews do beat Muslims in Duke’s hierarchy of hate. One of [...]

Hitchens on “Animal Farm”

Christopher Hitchens has reread “Animal Farm” (as everyone should do from time to time) and writes about it in The Guardian, along with some interesting details about George Orwell’s difficulty in getting it published and disseminated, in large part because of the wartime alliance between Stalin’s Soviet Union and the UK.

Corporate Lunacy and Sushi Delivery

My local sushi restaurant,  Me Love Sushi, has been open for about a year and a half and located in Swiss Cottage, not far from where I live.  As well as being a restaurant, they offer a takeaway service and a free delivery service.  The free delivery is for those who live within two miles [...]

Clegg Wars

Okay, it’s silly, but it’s Friday and it’s fun… Nick Clegg has become the subject of a bizarre viral online arcade game.

Debate II comments

Comments are open for opinions on tonight’s debate, the second of three ahead of the May 6 election, among the leaders of Britain’s three main political parties.

New Patron of The Palestine Telegraph

Baroness Jenny Tonge has, at her request, been removed from the Board of Patrons of the Palestine Telegraph– which has taken down the David Duke video we reported earlier– and replaced by some clown with a beard.

You may remember him from this interview he conducted on Press TV.
