Many of those "inventions" were discovered by Muslim inventors in the first place.
"For a thousand years, Muslim civilisation stretched from southern Spain as far as China. From the 7th century onwards, scholars of many faiths built on the ancient knowledge of the Egyptians, Greeks and Romans, making breakthroughs that paved the way for the Renaissance.

The discoveries made by men and women in Muslim civilisation have left their mark on the way we live today. 1001 Inventions uncovers a thousand years of science and technology that had a huge but hidden impact on the modern world."

And it's Zaman, not Saman btw :)

Waheed Saman studies biochemistry. He no doubt chose the field because of its charitable and humanitarian potential.

Why are we allowing jihadists open access to cutting edge terchnologies and such?

As for university ISocs, not only are they failing to combat radicalisation, they are incubating it and churning out actual terrorists, while doing a nice sideline in inciting hatred against Jews, gay people etc. The ones in London particularly should be closed down and under police investigation.

ALL of them should be investigated and disbanded is found radicalised. I also think that Muslim students interested in areas of study that invovle sensitive avant garde technologies and what have you should be thoroughly vetted. You should never, ever grace jihadists with open access to sciences and technologies that could be used for mass murder. I'm quite sure that the motivation for at least some of these 'students' is of a very feral nature.

They use our free-speech laws against us. They manipulate the democratic process and use it against us. They exploit our good will, only to use it against us. And they will, if we allow them, steal our advanced technologies, technologies they could never invent, and then use them against us.

We take inventions, devices, techniques and processes that took centuries of painstaking scientific work to develope and we promptly hand them over to individuals who'd use them to kill us.

This situation is akin to allowing nazis open access to the Manhatten Project.

It's fucking insane.

I see you are working hard to perpetuate the stereotype of the gun toting, shoot first ask questions later American! I don't think a military task force is necessary just as yet. Also it cannot really be described as a 'foreign occupation' as many of those involved in the IFE will of course be British.

I am glad it is has been reported in the mainstream press although keen readers of HP have had an inkling of what has been happening as a regular poster has been giving us regular dispatches on the situation in Tower Hamlets.

It is a very worrying situation and should never have been allowed to occur. As far as I am concerned anyone attempting to undermine democracy who is not a citizen should be deported forthwith and anyone who is should be excluded entirely from the political sphere as they have nothing of value to offer us and no constructive part to play in our democracy. I doubt very much that any such steps will be taken and I think this whole affair will be brushed under the carpet.

Of course the likes of Amnesty International, Sunny Hundal, Malcolm Grant, Seumas Milne, Andy Newman and numerous other progressives will continue their 'wise monkey' act, pretending to see nothing objectionable in all this, and chanting 'Islamophobia' at those who note and criticise it.

Begg and Cageprisoners are transparent dishonest and malign scumbags who support terrorism and its advocates, and who want to kill those who leave Islam. As for university ISocs, not only are they failing to combat radicalisation, they are incubating it and churning out actual terrorists, while doing a nice sideline in inciting hatred against Jews, gay people etc. The ones in London particularly should be closed down and under police investigation.

What a lovely 'progressive' cause to support are Cageprisoners and co. No wonder the left is increasingly looked at as populated by weird and sadistic apologists for religious extremists and those dedicated to eradicating universal human rights.
