Yes, tonight’s edition of Question Time was dreadful. Lord Falconer – as the sole representative of sanity on the panel – was totally crap.

I am near the Monkey Chews end, Ven. Having walked the whole length, I see why this is a Good Thing. I was alarmed to read on Wikipedia after exchange of contracts that Queen’s Crescent is the second most dangerous street in London. I think they judge it by shootings or something. So “South East Hampstead”, and investment in a flack jacket, it is.

Er, who were the intended audience for this “stunning performance”? The shirt, the hair gel, the knowing looks to camera all suggest the director had in mind an impressionable bunch of girl guides. Same goes for the content. Apologies, I am rather out of touch with daytime TV – if this was “stunning”, what the hell is mediocre like, or, God forbid, just plain bad?
