The last two months have seen two terrorist incidents in the US. In one case, the father of the terrorists had alerted US officials to the dangers posed by his son. In the other, the perpetrator had made his extremist views known to a roomful of army physicians.

Still people think it is quite impossible to track these nutjobs…

Murray is sick. What he is saying boils down to “A few hundreds murdered in the West is no big deal, nothing to see here, move along”.
Naturally, that attracts pathologically hate-fuelled commenters like the one above.

You will never get a proper answer to this question because they move the goalposts and simply blame the West, US, Israel – anyone.

And what is is significant about this is that precisely the same point will apply to “justify” Islamist terrorism itself if and when any of the “flashpoint” prroblems are solved (West Bank/Gaza, Kashmir etc) – they will simply move onto some other dispute of which there willl always be plenty along the huge borderlan between the Islamic worlkd and the rest of us across Africa Europe and Asis. For those of us who want to emphasise the ideollogical nature of what the terrorists are about that presents a huge challenge.
