* Forward Thinking – ex-MI6 Spooks types set up offices in Regent Street to bring about downfall of Islamism by pandering to them (also see Conflicts Forum)
* Ulfah Arts – Worthless Islamic Music Organisors do you still remeber Fun-Da Mental. Its lead was quoted as saying “”Islam for me was more punk than punk. I can’t understand why people say it is restrictive.”
* JUST – Again worthless

So another day of taxpayers money wasted at the mother of Parliaments.

Lynne – I confess to not being particularly up to speed on where the UK ranks on the Satan-o-Meter, but in the post-election days in Iran, I think Ahmadinejad popped us up a notch or two – possibly to a rank above the USA.

I encountered Massoud about 20 years ago when I was living in Cambridge. He was a taxi driver – and Khomeinist ranter! Interestingly, he claimed to be an American citizen – but didn’t want to live in the Great Satan! I wish I’d asked him why he wanted to live in the Little Satan instead!

What is this stuff about ‘Saudi nurses’ in the third paragraph of the second box if I can ask?

Is this a reference to the two British nurses who were charged with the murder of an Australian colleague at King Fahad Military Medical Compex in Dhahran and who were released after a donor – thought to be BAe Systems – paid the murdered woman’s kin a sizeable sum in blood money?

Utterly clueless on the part of government-no surprise obviously.

The whole engagement process to “reduce extremism” is surely a waste of time except as a patronising PR exercise, even without using self-appointed extremist representatives as interlocutors. If I was contemplating terrorist violence, I really doubt that a government campaign would dissuade me. It just panders massively to the role of identity politics that Labour have pushed for 12 years.

When these people say that jews or americans are “descendants of apes and pigs”, is the idea that some are descendants of apes and others descendants of pigs? Or is it supposed that the apes and pigs mated and that some are descendants of both apes and pigs. Surely some ’scholar’ could enlighten us about this.
