Anaximander

"They will excuse any atrocity, any genocide as long as it is “good” for the leaders of the proletariat."

It's not so much that they actually excuse everythinmg, but that they prefer to ignore it. Anything will do so long as it is against their own countries Without whose privileges they would find it hard to live. Many of them have still a conscience in them, locked behind steel bars. I have frequently asked them whether they like Shariah law and etc. - They don't say 'yes' but simply don't answer. Galloway will answer but by saying it happens in the Old Testament.
This proves that he is an incorrigible, calculating and opportunistic liar. In an 'interview' with Oliver Kamm he prevents Kamm from replying and then users a technique which is popular in Italian politics. He keeps shouting, "You are a banker - a banker -a BANKER", covering any other voice that there might be in the vicinity

These threads move far too fast. You're a lousy gang of sputniks. This thread will have gone by about tomorrow & I would like to have got into the gay subject at greater length than I can do.

I'm disturbed about Uganda but not taken by surprise. Anything can happen in that country. It should be attacked but also be a warning to gays in Europe to consolidate their position as the predators are on the look out.

An ex floosy man of BIg Brother, now Mrs. Trump's boyfriend or gigolo, hetero - he says - proved to the world that George Clooney is not gay by making a pass at him. What is Clooney doing with shits like this at his dinner table? In the interview I read, he says he is very attractive to gays - not to me - and suspected of being so. Then he says, "The popular press will do anything to drag you through the mud.

Shall I or shan't I get into Felixian erotica? (to show how deep seated gay fear is)

Years ago I had the boy friend of a girl friend of mine to dinner and he pressed his thing-a-me job against my thigh. Given the situation I declined. Not much later someone asked him if he was gay and he was outraged for days.

Even gays can be prejudiced. Another friend was upset because someone had guessed he was gay. (I won't go into the details). To me L. said, "But how did he know? I don't want people to know." I said, "L., but you ARE gay - there's no point in kicking against the pricks."

Peter Tatchell will definitely go down in history as one of the Top 5 human rights campaigners/defenders of the century. He is exactly what "left-wing" should be - genuine, compassionate, and not blinded by prejudice or secret agenda. Sections of the "hard left" should hang their heads in shame.

As for the original article - yes, we must continue to shine the spotlight and keep the pressure on foreign governments that seem determined to continue oppression and intolerance towards gay people. Religion - whether Islam or fundamental Christianity - is usually at the root of all this, in the african and middle-eastern countries imposing such vile laws. The sections of the left who think we shouldn't criticise them simply because they're not white and it might be "racist" or "imperial" need to take a long hard look at themselves in the mirror and ask what exactly they believe in. The percentage of gay people in these countries is the same as the percentage we have here in the UK - think of the millions who are suffering in Iran, Uganda etc because of these laws when we could be doing more from the comfortable and influencial West to help them!

Interesting that at the protest outside the Iranian embassy yesterday night I saw an Iranian socialist section but none of the typical members of the left, no newspaper sellers etc etc. As I said on an earlier thread that he walks the talk, Peter Tatchell was there showing his support.
And I share this sentiment written by Peter Tatchell earlier on in this thread "Have these people never heard of internationalism and solidarity?"

I remember in the 90s when the big cause celebre was the environment, and anti-roadbuilding protests in particular, that the activist there seemed obsessed with keeping the SWP and all other hard-left organisations out, to the point of being a bit paranoid I thought.

Now I know why. They are authoritarians and opportunists of the first water, and many hide some pretty awful prejudices.

Ah John,

Uganda is becomming more and more prey to Islamists and their agenda. Those African countires that are adopting laws against queers are also those that are the most anti-semitic. that toxic mixture is always a sign of growing islamist influences. Mozambique, for example, which is only 17% Muslim is trying to pass a sharia law bill that includes harsh penalites for homosexuality and that would be legally binding on the 83% of the country that is non-Muslim.

Nope. Uganda is, at most, about 12% Muslim. All the running here is being made by conservative Christians, some backed by American money. More, this is a common theme across much of Africa: conservative forms of religion quite generally are finding more adherents.

Gay people, especially gay Leftist people in Africa, in fact not just Africa but anywhere, should surely now be able to see the true colours of the Far Leftie scum that infect this planet, surely they can smell the odour of blind ideological bigotry, surely they know that the Far Left hate mongers are prepared to sacrifice anyone for the "cause" The Left have always murdered with a happy heart, an inner peace that theirs is a crusade for the good of the people.

Gay people who don't tow the party line will be hated with just as much venom as anyone else, the far left are not prejudiced by sexual orientation, they are capable of hating everyone, the millions of dead people could confirm that little fact, if they all hadn't been murdered by the Left that is.

They will excuse any atrocity, any genocide as long as it is "good" for the leaders of the proletariat.

"We were then vilified by sections of the left and by some twisted academics as “imposing western values”, having a “racist agenda”, and being “agents of US and British imperialism.”

That needs repeating, over and over and over and over again.

The slogan of the malignant tendency leftists, absolute classical Left Wing deep seated Hatred directed towards anyone who dares to question their motives, is it any wonder that where leftists go the executioner always follows.

Millions and Millions and Millions of dead and still these vile creatures claim socialism is "good" for the people, yeah right and we know which people they are talking about don't we.

If the Left gave a flying fuck about Africa post south africa then Africa would not be full of religious salesmen but would have wall to wall socialists selling copies of the morning star, the Africans after all must be ultimate oppressed poor people, whether they are Gay or not, mustn't they?
