Choose your friends wisely…
This is a guest post by Edmund Standing

Meet Joey and Mark, two average British lads who just happen to also be BNP members who were recently interviewed by BBC Radio 1. Joey thinks that ‘if everybody integrated it would take away everybody’s identity’ and Mark thinks that people in mixed race relationships are ‘brainwashed’ and ‘indoctrinated’.
OK, so they have some unusual views, but naturally they’d never want to be associated with neo-Nazism. Well, Mark used to be a bit of a fan of the Third Reich, but that’s all in the past, right? The BNP is just a patriotic British party. BNP legal officer Lee Barnes has said so on this very blog, so it must be true.
Keen to spread the message online and make new friends, Joey’s got a Facebook account, as has Mark.
Looking at Joey’s friends, we find the following users amongst them:
Barry Rogers, who proudly flaunts his support for the BNP
‘Honest John’, who is ‘British and Proud’
Mark’s friends include:
Barry Rogers
Dave Oloughlin
Sidney Martin
Other than being Facebook friends with leading BNP members, Barry, John, Dave, and Sidney also share something else in common.
All four are ‘fans‘ of Combat 18.
And what does this group stand for? Take a look at the group’s photo album and you’ll find:

Just what is it about the BNP that it apparently can’t help attracting Nazi scum like this?
And exactly what kind of party places people like Mark (pictured below) in positions of authority?
