My “whole time” was making a point about hypocrisy. The fact that I hadn’t looked at the case closely and am not fanatic rather proves your childish assertion, that anyone who makes a wider point is “blatantly defending him”, to be wrong.

The only party ‘unlucky’ in this crime was his victim. But yes, the hypocrisy in seeing his premeditated, brutal, licentious criminal act being defended, or excused by anyone is unimaginable, but a sad reality.

1) If such allegations had been made, even if not true, they would have been explosive and would be common currency. How come such currency is non-existent, or at least extremely difficult to find?

2) The daughter in question, a drug addict, was a highly disturbed person who actually left home when she was 14 and married at 15. She put her father through hell. Despite all this, Vidal Sassoon was most devoted to her and, especially given the circumstances, immensely generous to her. It is inconceivable to me that he would at any time have put her in any kind of danger.

3) I believe that Vidal should have a chance to defend himself against your allegations. However, let us suppose for a moment that his daughter did make these allegations, this does not mean that they were true, and yet you have accepted them at face value.
