I don't understand how certain "judges" can continue to make bizarre decisions or interpretations of "the law" with impunity.
Who actually runs the UK? Divine Right of Kings (Queens) is looking very attractive!

At last you are mentioning the death of this utterly evil man.

Our libel laws are very oppressive, & the old maxim is "The greater the truth, the greater the libel". This allowed spivs like Robert Maxwell to plunder his employees pockets for years.

Criminals come from all over the world to sue for defamation in
our courts. It should be stopped.

The root of the problem is the crap law that afaict succesive governments have shown no interest in correcting. Sacking one dodgy judge isn't the answer to a systemic problem.

I thought the point was that you can't say it now after he's dead either.

Yes! Thank fuck the terrorist is dead! And gone to hell! Sizzle, sizzle, sizzle! Shame we can't say this sort of thing while the c**ts are still alive, but let's enjoy it when they're dead! And let's remember a propos of all those who are still alive - people who regularly have recourse to the libel laws are ALWAYS guilty of whatever they're accused of, even if we're not allowed to say so! Yee-hah!

It's quite hard to bring a libel action in English without an English lawyer to present your case. Friends of yours getting rich, Mr T?
