I wrote to Denham in fairly strong (but not totally abusive terms) asking him exactly what he actually knew about Cable Street and querying why New Labour supported the Fascist thugs of the “anti-fascist” UAF. Guess what? He hasn’t replied.

Good article and it shows how the SWP/UAF roadshow has come a cropper. I always love hearing the terminally thick Weyman Bennett telling audiances of the already converted that the way forward is that of the ANL.

Completely ignoring the fact that people of my age were active all through the seventies and know that the ANL urban myth has become an urban lie they don’t seem to have noticed that Griffin and co have changed the name of the game and are not on the streets any more.

Like the ANL ,UAF is a totally undemocratic organisation completely under the control of the SWP central committee. Its tactics and strategy of pop festivals and demos were not even effective in the late seventies by which time the NF was in decline and now they are pathetic and even dangerous.

Their whole campaign for several years has been one lie after another. They claim to have distributed a million and a half pieces of literature when all they did was to put a leaflet on their site and ask people to down load it, print it and get friends to distribute it.

I went to a meeting at the Round Chapel in Hackney a few months ago where Bennett was speaking and he claimed that they had 170,000 people at their last pop festival in Victoria Park Hackney. I laughed out loud. I happen to know the man who controls Arts and Events and liased with Bennett. When he asked him how many people they were ecpecting Bennett said 20,00 and space, insurance and security was arranged for that number. There weren’t even twenty thousand but the CC have a line that must be slavishly followed.

Anything built on lies will eventually be exposed and SWP/UAF have been. Bennett is so thick that he reads from a lap top that Martin Smith alters to suit the occassion. You couldn’t make some of this up but it’s true.

When an elderly Muslim man was kicked to death by two black youths in Balham earlier this week, I expected to hear denunciations from the various Muslim organisations. Indeed, it is a shocking thing that old men cannot stand innocently in the street. He was with his granddaughter and she saw the whole thing. Why wasn’t there howls of outrage at what was an outrageous killing? If, it had been done by white boys, no doubt there would have been lots of blame on lthe perpentarators (and rightly so), but there was nada, zilch, nothing, that I saw anyway. Why was this? Is it because it does not fit some preordained agenda of blame and guilt?

If a gang of white youths attacks an asian or black person, it’s automatically a “rAcIsT!!!1″ attack and plastered all over the national papers.

If a gang of asian or black youths attack a white person, its a “random” or “unprovoked” attack, and usually gets a small paragraph only in the local paper.

Double standards like this are what is pushing ordinary people towards the BNP etc.

This may make me unpopular, but whenever I read about Asians/Muslims being beaten up or stabbed in the street, it’s usually by other Asians/Muslims. Can anyone cite an example of white/asian violence?
