I think that blogging in favour of the Republican Party is inevitable. The Left is becoming too hostile to people of HP's wont. Look at Little Green Footballs. He did not start out on the Right but as an aging Hippy with an interest in high tech and bicycles, but the War on Terror got to him. He is still an aging Hippy, he just doesn't think coddling the terrorists is the right way to go. Besides, as people get older, they move to the Right. Live long enough and everyone will be Republican. “If you wake up one morning and find me blogging in support of the Stop the War Coalition or the Republican party, you can be damn sure that I was coerced.”

I think that blogging in favour of the Republican Party is inevitable. The Left is becoming too hostile to people of HP’s wont. Look at Little Green Footballs. In addition to rousing the world's conscience on human rights issues, the disgusting treatment to which these people have been subjected since the June elections should call into doubt any Western intentions of imposing sanctions upon Iran as a means of 'persuasion' on the nuclear issue. Obviously public discontent and suffering due to a shortage of goods is not going to have one iota of influence on such a vicious regime. Time for plan B -and very quickly.
