BNP’s Barnbrook too stressed for misconduct hearing

The Guardian reports:

A meeting to consider whether Richard Barnbrook, one of the most senior elected members of the British National party, had brought his office into disrepute was cut short today after he failed to turn up on stress grounds.

Barnbrook, who is both a London assembly member and sits on Barking and Dagenham council, could be suspended amid charges that he brought his office into disrepute by falsely claiming three murders had taken place over a three-week period in the Barking and Dagenham area.

[...]

Barnbrook faced a grilling before the standards committees of both the Greater London authority and the council to explain his position and take questions over comments he made in an interview posted on the internet, which were subsequently removed.

Nothing British About the BNP adds:

The panel was going to announce its decision today.

However, it is said that after consulting with his legal advisor, Lee Barnes, who is also legal director for the BNP, Barnbrook decided not to attend this morning’s hearing, which was due to start at 10.30am. Barnes, according to sources from Barking and Dagenham Council, told Barnbrook that the “make-up” of the panel would not guarantee him a fair hearing.

But before the panel could decide as to whether they should go ahead and make a decision on the case, news came in that Barnbrook was given sick leave due to “stress”. The panel believed that they did not want to add to his medical state and have set aside two dates, August 14th and September 4th 2009, and will announce when they will hold the next panel meeting in due course.

If the above comment about Barnes is accurate it would come as no great surprise as he seems to think the British legal system is essentially corrupt.

According to Barnes, ‘the government and the judges rig the system’ and ‘[o]ne of the ways that the judges fiddle the legal system to benefit their masters is to deliberatly misinterpret the law’. Indeed, Barnes believes that: ‘Apart from the government, the primary reason why our country is so fucked up is because of the Judges’. And there’s more:

The Judges in our country are infected with Leftist and Liberal activists following the Gramscian infiltrationist methodology … These judges serve the interests of the corporations, the left and the immigrant / ethnic lobby groups … Most Judges do not serve the interests of Justice or the British people, they serve the interests of the ’shadow government’ – that is the corporations, the left, the ethnics and the immigrants.

And more:

The role of Judges in the modern legal system is to repress and remove the rights of the ethnic majority and create a ‘legal’ apartheid state where we, the indigenous British, are legally recognised as a racial underclass in our own country.

And, if this article is accurate, Barnes believes that ‘the courts and judges are as bent as a nine bob note’ and ‘the judges are all bent’.

Fear not, though, ‘the Judges’ will ‘be dealt with when the time comes after we take power’.

Given Barnes’s views about the British legal system, no wonder poor Barnbrook is feeling stressed…
