How could the perfect constitution of Ayatollah Khomeini have delivered people like Mousavi and Khatami into power (previously)? The constitution must be at fault. They will be entering on a Stalinesque hall of mirrors. Who knows where it will all lead? Personally, it just confirms for me that the Americans should have rolled straight on to Tehran. To have done so would have removed half of the insurgency in Iraq. If the USA could have delivered democracy to Iran, it would have greatly strengthened democracy in Iraq. Sue R –
