The more I see him read his carefully crafted lectures and sermons, nodding his head from left to right to switch screens, and pointing his finger like a school master, the more fascinated I am by those who speak with genuine passion and a totally different vocabulary and tone. Palin's speech is lively, full of unpredictable examples, and less obviously stereotypical than most things Obama says. And for that, I find her a more engaging speaker sometimes.
