I read the whole of John Wight’s article – it seems like a week ago, but it must have been yesterday. He adopts a kind of (venemously) kind and reasoable tone in justifying the Iranian regime’s treatment of women. Though you can hardly get more barbaric than that, he carefully avoids any attempt to justify the other cruelties of the regime, such as the cutting off of limbs, execution of adulterers and gays, public beatings etc. etc.

This is ideologised lunacy and discredits the fascist left for once and for all.
