Daud Abdullah and the Nazi Hoax

In 2000, Daud Abdullah was on the editorial board of a magazine called The New Dawn. The New Dawn was published by the Muslim Association of Britain: a constituent member of the Muslim Council of Britain and the British franchise of Hamas/Muslim Brotherhood.

At the foot of an article by Daud Abdullah, the magazine carried the following item:

daud-franklin-forgery

The text reads as follows:

The Jewish Threat on the American Society

I agree with the general Washington – that we must protect this young nation from the insidious influence and impenetration. That menace, gentlemen, is the Jew. In whatever country Jews have settled in great numbers, they have lowered its moral tone, depreciated its commercial integrity, have segregated themselves, and have not been assimilated, have sneered and tried to undermine the Christian religion upon which that nation is founded by objecting to its restrictions, have built up a state within a state, and, when opposed, have tried to strangle that country to death financially, as in the case of Spain and Portugal.

For over 1700 yeasr the Jews have been bewailing their sad fate – in that they have been exiled from their homeland, as they call Palestine. But, gentlement, did the world today give it to them in fee simple, they would at once find some reason for not returning. Why? Because they are Vampires and Vampires do not live on Vampires. They cannot live only amongst themselves. They must sub-sit on Christians and other peoples not of their race. If you do not exclude them, in less than 200 years our descendants will be working in the fileds to furnish them substance, while they will be in the counting-houses rubbing their hands. I warn you, gentlemen if you do not exclude Jews for all time, your children will curse you in your graves.

It goes without saying that the so-called “Franklyn Prophecy” that Daud Abdullah’s magazine printed, is a vicious racist hoax. Have a look at some of the other websites carrying this lie. They are significantly neo Nazi in nature.

Here is the US Government’s comprehensive debunking of this antisemitic filth:

The “Franklin Prophecy” was published in the February 3, 1934 edition of the weekly newspaper Liberation, published by American Nazi leader William Dudley Pelley. Pelley, a former newspaper reporter, is suspected of being the author of the forgery.

In 1925, Pelley stated that he had an out-of-body experience, which had inspired him to radically change his life and lead a national movement to change society, centered on millennial Christianity. In 1933, Pelley interpreted Hitler’s rise to power in Germany as a sign that the Second Coming of Jesus was approaching. Pelley founded an American Nazi organization, the Silver Legion, which wore Nazi-like silver uniforms. He envisioned them as fighting the forces of evil in the Last Days before the Second Coming. In 1942, Pelley was convicted of various crimes and sentenced to 15 years in prison.

Osama bin Laden referred to Pelley’s “Franklin Prophecy” forgery in his 2002 “Letter to the American People,” in which he complained about supposed Jewish power in America, stating that this is “precisely what Benjamin Franklin warned you against.”

In 2004, the Muslim Association of Britain denied having published this racist hoax:

11)The article claimed to be written by Benjamin Franklin, in which Jews were described as vampires and seen as a scourge on America, was not published by MAB, as Browne alleges.

Daud Abdullah also denies being a racist.

By contrast, Benjamin Franklin “contributed five pounds to the Hebrew Society of Philadelphia when it was raising money for a synagogue “.
