No, Genghis, you are fabricating once again. I was arrested by violent police officers whilst peacefully participating, as an employee of the TUC, in a perfectly legal trade union demonstration. And I have a High Court judgement which says so.

Wapping 1986. Arrested, fitted up, charged, case thrown out of court by judge who says I have “no case to answer”, sued the police, High Court judge describes the police officers involved as “corrupt liars” and describes me as “an ordinary respectable Englishman”, substantial damages awarded including an award of exemplary damages to punish the Metropolitan Police for failing to apologise.

The police officers involved were Howard Lovegrove and Mark Workman. In 2000, dishonest Workman was in the news once again, after a court rejected his evidence concerning him being attacked by a black female police officer, prefering her evidence that she had acted in self defence after suffering years of racial abuse.

Right, that is why you boast about having beaten someone so badly that it needed reconstructive surgery and you threaten people. You say you don’t like violence yet you argue that Chavez’s coup d’etat in 92, which left many deaths, was a tactical success. You say you don’t like violence yet in this very thread you have defended Chavez inviting a genocide to Venezuela. You say you don’t like violence yet you were arrested for participating in violent demonstrations against perfectly legitimate business decisions.

Where is the evidence of the 3000 deaths BTW? How about Rodriguez Chacin relationship with Henry Lopez Sisco? What can you tell us about that, Mr know-it-all?

Alex Boyd (who compares himself to Genghis Khan and fantsises about torturing people – his words) and his deranged internet pals who post on an opposition blog threatened to physically attack me. I responded by saying that the last guy who attacked me required reconstructive surgery to his face.

About 10 years ago I was having a quiet drink in a bar with a friend when we were set upon by a gang of thugs. I defended myself and punched the biggest thug, busting his nose. The police were on the scene within minutes and I was told that they considered that I had acted in self defence and had no intention of pressing charges against me.

Faced with similar circumstances again, I would do exactly the same. I don’t like violence. I have never started a fight in my life, but if I am attacked in a bar or elsewhere, I will defend myself and I believe that I am fully justified to do so. The police (bless ‘em) seem to agree.

As per the 3000 deaths that you’re attributing to CAP, care to place here links to reliable, authoritative and independent sources to prove your dishonest claim? Wilpert’s rag does not count. While at it, please enlighten us on the relationship of Chavez and Rodriguez Chacin, a man responsible for certain killings done under CAP.

I would have let this go, but I don’t want to leave anyone with the impression that I have pried into anybody’s personal life. I have not, and would not. I just noticed that Zin got all antsy when anyone mentioned his plush City job finding fatcat jobs for fatcats for a percentage of the fatcat salary while still maintaining an orthodox Communist line. Professional life is not personal life, and I am sure I am not the only one to think that this combination is well dodgy. After all, the City has done immense harm to this country in the last few years. It reminds me of “the animals looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, but already it was impossible to tell which was which”. But then, of course, Orwell was a Trot who should have been shot. It is politically relevant, unlike private who-shags-who stuff, which I avoid.
