It seems there are some new Nazi kids on the block, this time going by the name of the ‘English National Resistance‘. Seeking to model themselves on European ‘Black Bloc‘ ‘autonomous nationalist’ groups (essentially neo-Nazis posing as anarchists), the ENR favour ‘direct action’ tactics – currently in the form of spray painting slogans and illegal fly posting, looking at their promotional video.

The ENR website has lots of drivel attempting to merge leftist rhetoric with racial nationalism and claims to not support neo-Nazism while at the same time posting music by openly Nazi ‘hate rock’ and ‘RAC’ bands and offering links to sites including the Combat 18 affiliated ‘Racial Volunteer Force’.

The ENR claims to be opposed to violence, yet with its emphasis on a ‘leaderless resistance‘ and non-party political approach, this is exactly the kind of group that is likely to attract lunatics inclined towards neo-Nazi terrorism. Certainly, it comes as little surprise to see this comment on the ENR YouTube video:

Fantastic work lads! keep recruiting members and when you have a large enough army thats when you strike! remember nothing changes without violence.

To what extent the ENR is actually a ‘group’, as opposed to a one man and his spraycan outfit is hard to tell at this stage, although they claim to have been present at the recent 9th/12th Royal Lancers Homecoming Parade in Derby and provide a few photos.

People are attracted to extreme political movements for a variety of reasons, but one that often pops up is an issue with sexuality: for example, London nailbomber David Copeland was a rabidly homophobic loner who dreamt of being an SS commander with female sex slaves; would-be neo-Nazi bomber Martyn Gilleard hated ‘race-mixing sluts’ and had a large child porn collection; and when Russian hackers tracked the web activities of British Jihadists in 2007, they found them searching for porn (including gay porn) and watching clips with titles like ‘itsashemaleorgy’ and ‘Transexualgangbanger’.

Looking at the ENR website, we find this:

With a bit of luck, the ENR will disappear in a short while. Let’s hope it does without anyone getting hurt in the process.
