It is because of bored, self righteous, spiritually vacant people such as this this that "others" think our society is up for grabs!

If you really want to buy some (absolutely delicious) wine from a country whose bullying, aggressive, militaristic neighbour is doing its utmost to undermine (and which by banning the import of wine from said country at a stroke cut off about two-thirds of its habitual wine exports), I recommend you get yerselves down to "Theatre of Wine" at 75 Trafalgar Road, Greenwich, London. SE10 9TS to pick up some Tbilvino Kvanchkara.

Frankly, some twats posturing outside Tesco does Israel no harm. Russia's trade embargo does Georgia does one hell a lot of harm. (And I in no way condone or support the people running the Georgian state - but the people in that country really are being hit hard by totally illegitimate sanctions)

So go get some Georgian red wine, if you are the sort of person who chooses to buy (or not buy) things on account of their state of origin. I don't do boycotts, nor "support buys" either - but evidently some folk around here do.

What if you're in Tesco in Richmond upon Thames?

Goodbye Israel
I probably would have supported you 20-30 years ago
But your behaviour since has made you an impossible thorn in the Middle East

Wardytron - have you tried the extensive range of wines from the Golan Heights winery? There are several ranges, according to your pocket. Yarden is the cheaper one, Gamla a little more expensive. As a red wine drinker myself, I think they're worth a try. If you're feeling flush, try Chateau Golan. This is a boutique winery in the South Golan at Eliad. They're not cheap, but very good. If you're in the duty free at BG airport, they are more reasonably priced there. LaChaim!

TABLE WINE
ASDA*,Sainsbury (Red, Rose & Sparkling)

Until Israel develops a decent wine industry specialising in chunky reds around the fiver a bottle mark I will be unable to double its annual GDP.
