The arrival of such a letter ought to be proof positive that the Planes Operation was what investigators have said it was from soon after the event. A terrorist attack conceived and executed by named individuals.

But it will not.

No weight of evidence can shift the conspiracy theories because these are not, finally, based upon observable verifiable facts or effects, but belief.

I say old thing, could you possibly see yourself towards translating this into English for me, please?

Yes, we think they need a better translator, but the question is: Do theythink so? Or do they think that English is nothing more than dirty infidel jabber and that it’s beneath their dignity to take notice of any alleged difference there may be between good English and bad English?

This is a thinly veiled threat:
Your support of injustice and occupation will provoke resistance and will lead us to view all equally.

But this is baffling (see the comment abive about the need for clear expression in English)
Your Excellency may agree with us that the peoples of the Third World Countries have not suffered in the looting of wealth and exploitation of their resources and the attack on their sovereignty in the same way as they have suffered from the great American companies which conquered states and overthrew regimes and arranged coups to overthrow any national resistance to protect the wealth of those countries.

don’t you ever wonder when they’re going to start reciprocating and treating you equally and with respect, instead of that jeering disdain with which you’re all too familiar?

I sometimes wonder whether they’re ever going to start showing respect for the English language by making an effort to express themselves clearly. Their offhanded disregard for idiom and even basic syntax strikes me, now that you mention it, as a sign of “jeering disdain”. I wonder whether it’s also true of their use of French and other western languages. Could it be a sign that, in their view, only Arabic counts and all other languages are simply not worthy of study beyond basic literacy, being no more than the squeaks and grunts of pigs and apes?
