And I suspect the attitude of most western governments is very much the same. An adequate supply of reasonably priced oil and gas, tends to float all boats in the world market. China doesn't have a problem with buying up agricultural land in Zimbabwe, while the African locals starve. So why would they want to de-stabilise the Sudan?
