Israel targets Palestinians… with humanitarian aid
The Palestinian Resistance has bravely fired 25 mortar shells at the Zionist Entity.
The Zionazi response has been predictably disproportionate and brutal: Israel has mobilised its forces and launched a genocidal assault on the Palestinian people, stepping up its policy of ethnic cleansing by deliberately targetting non-combatants, especially children.
Oh, wait a minute…
Despite the mortar shell fire, Israel began transferring humanitarian aid to Gaza on Friday morning.
The army said the first of an expected 90 trucks started to deliver medicine, fuel, cooking gas and other vital goods to the Strip on Friday.
Defense Minister Ehud Barak decided Thursday to open the Kerem Shalom and Sufa crossings to allow the transfer of humanitarian supplies to Gaza.
Gene adds: Yediot Ahronot reports:
A rocket apparently fired by Palestinians on Friday struck a house in the Gaza Strip, killing two Palestinian sisters aged five and 13, Palestinian medics said.
Hamas police said they were investigating the cause of the blast in Beit Lahiya village in northern Gaza, which medics said seemed to be due to a rocket aimed at Israel that had misfired.
Earlier in the day, a seriously wounded 35-year-old Palestinian man, hurt by a misfired rocket on Tuesday, was taken to an Israeli hospital for treatment. Two children were also reportedly wounded in the Tuesday attack, but it is unclear whether they were the man’s children.
The man was apparently injured in the head after a rocket directly hit his home. He received initial treatment at a hospital in Gaza, but it was later decided to transfer him for treatment in Israel.
A dilemma for Hamas and its apologists: who to blame?
And when Israel responds militarily to the barrage of rockets and mortars launched from Gaza that are daily striking Israel, we can expect to hear from the usual suspects that the Israelis are aggressively overreacting, provoking the Palestinians, continuing the “cycle of violence,” etc., etc.
