Settlers? Well, it’s high time these problems were settled once and for all. Is it really beyond the wit of man to settle these matters in a fair and just way? No, it is not. With good will on all sides a little progress can be made. It’s like teaching a child to walk, one step at a time.

I should add that Palestinians have available or should have available to them (a) a de facto Palestinian state in Jordan and (b) a host of other Muslim Arab countries as refuge. This strengthens Benny Morris’ argument.

Considering that
(1) the value/extent of the property lost by Sephardim is several times the size of Israel and the West Bank
(2) the Arab world OWES the Jews a reasonably-sized, defensible country in compensation for the semi-apartheid state of dhimmitude Islam imposed upon the jews for 1,400 years

Benny Morris is correct when he writes that the Jews in 1948 or 1967 should have expelled all Arabs from both Israel proper and from the West Bank.
