“13 Jews among the 91 people who were killed there you know.”
So? Those were the British HQ.” You don’t consider it an act of terrorism? I don’t really want to argue the toss about it, I’m just interested to know.

No. I don't consider it an act of terrorism. It was a military target. And the Irgun even warned them.

You don't know what terrorism is.

"When the Lebanese army indiscriminately attacked a Palestinian refugee camp, where were the anguished protests of the Palestinian lobby?"

I assume Chas is somewhat disingenuously referring to the Lebanese Army's action against Fatah-al-Islam here. Unpleasant though that was, the 40 or so civilians caught in the crossfire aren't especially analogous to Israel's actions in Lebanon. He might have had more of a point talking about Syria's war against Aoun, assuming he's heard of it.

Interestingly one person who didn't come and condemn it was Nasrallah, who would have no particular love for a Salafist outfif like F-a-I. If large sections of the left are in thrall to Hezbollah as is often claimed, they're obviously not getting the memos

"We have limited time, and we prefer to spend it fighting the Israeli oppression of the Palestinians.
This doesn’t mean we will never speak out against Lebanese attacks on Palestinian refugee camps"

Probably the lamest excuse for the hypocrisy of the 'Palestinian' stooges I have heard for a long time.

when the Lebanese army indiscriminately attacked a Palestinian refugee camp, where were the anguished protests of the Palestinian lobby?

I can see your point: if someone denounces a human-rights violation, he must denounce all similar violations; otherwise he's a hypocrite.

By the same standards, the US should invade the Congo. After all, more innocents were killed in the 1st and 2nd Congo wars than in Saddam Hussein's Iraq; the country is in real need of some American-enforced democracy.

Of course, it can be argued that the US has limited resources and can tackle one issue at a time. Well, the same is true for us Palestinian lobbyists. We have limited time, and we prefer to spend it fighting the Israeli oppression of the Palestinians.

This doesn't mean we will never speak out against Lebanese attacks on Palestinian refugee camps. We will -- the day the US invades the Congo in agreement with its stated goal of selflessly spreading democracy.

"I do not see why any group can come together and claim a land they have never seen is their’s and then insist that every member they define as a member of that group has a legal right to move to that land over the objections of the local inhabitants"

This asshole will claim next that the Jews are really Khazars. He doesn't have the braincells to grasp the concept of expulsion and reclamation of what is rightfully yours. Every word screams 'deranged antisemite'.

“Christoid” - WTF?

That's my offensive term for those Christians who believe that a cabal of Jews run the world, media, banking, US, whatever from behind the curtains. If you've been keeping up, the question was asked what was the British motive for signing the Balfour Declaration. It turns out that Brits in the FCO who believed Jews aka -'world jewry'™ had undue power, thought that the declaration would result in a never made explicit quid pro quo where the powerful Jews would then help the Brits with the US and with money in exchange for a homeland in Mandate Palestine. Of course the Zionist Jews didn't even have a smidgeon of the power or money the delusional bigoted British FCO Christoids thought thy had and grew angry at Jews for duping them, because when it comes to Jews, British Christoids in the FCO, (oh sorry, Brits apparently prefer the term twat which according to them is somehow not that offensive), British twats in the FCO can never be wrong.

And what’s the acetone for?

The acetone refers to the British army's need for it during WW1 as a component of explosive ammunition and its invention by a Zionist chemist chap named Weizman. Clearly you don't know much about the subject.
