His death was believed to be an effort by Milosevic, who was still in power, to get rid of an inconvient witness. As one of Milosevic’s mentors, Stalin, would have put it: Dead men tell no tales.

Your point couldn’t have been better put. Arkan had convictions for bank robbery in several countries.
