The Islamic heartlands will, with global warming, become more and more inhospitable and uninhabital and so naturally, any that can will stay in the West. Regarding the remarks about science, I found a website written by an Assyrian the other day, sorry I can't remember it's name. but he argued that all the discoveries by Arabs in the Medieval world were actually by Assyrians. Once they had killed all the Assyrians in one way or another, the Golden Age of Islam was over. Obviously, Arabs/Muslims are capable of the highest levels of science, but generally they have to leave Islamic societies and go and live in the West to participate fully in the frontiers of scientific discovery.
