Utter nonsense of course, this island country might hold out against their enemy, but without massive armies from other countries would never have defeated their enemy on their own. Fortunately the enemy and its principal ally were both idiotic enough to do this with their attacks on the Soviet Union & the United States. (I realize that people from this particular country might say something about the Bloody Yanks being late to every war! Can understand that from their point of view!
